Itinerary Details

Day 1;Boat Safari Along the Rufiji River.

Depart Dar on a shared charter flight to arrive Rufiji River Cap for lunch.  Spend the afternoon on boat safari along the Rufiji River.
Return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 2; Game Drive in the Selous

  Transfer after breakfast for a morning game drive in the Selous. The Selous is Africa’s largest wildlife sanctuary.  Return to the camp for hot lunch.  Experience an afternoon walking safari in the Selous.  The selous is characterised by wildlife such as  Buffalo, Rhino, Elephant, Hippos, Giraffes and Wildebeest. Return to Rufiji River Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3; Walking  and Boating Safari in the Selous

Spend the day on activity of walking & boating safari in the Selous.  Depart after breakfast for a morning walking safari in the bush.  Back to Rufiji River Camp for lunch.  Spend the afternoon on a boating safari in Rufiji River Camp.  Back to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 4; Selous to the Udzungwa Mountains.

After breakfast, depart Selous to the Udzungwa Mountains.  You will be driven through the Uluguru Mountains to Mikumi, about 7 hours drive.  Break for some hot lunch in Mikumi on your way to Udzungwa.  Enjoy some bird watching in the forest.  Proceed to Udzungwe Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 5; Hiking in the Udzungwa Mountains. 

Depart after breakfast for the Udzungwa mountains and spend a full day Hiking in the Udzungwa Mountains. 
Break for a picnic lunch in the Mountains.  Spend the afternoon hiking and bird-watching in the rainforest towards the Sanje River Waterfall.
Return to Udzungwa Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 6; Mikumi National Park 

  Depart after breakfast to Mikumi National Park which lies in the southern highlands.  Arrive for lunch at Mikumi Wildlife Camp.
Spend the afternoon on a game drive in the Mikumi National Park.  Back to Mikumi Wildlife Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 7;Game Drive in Mikumi

Depart after breakfast for a full day of game drive in Mikumi National Park.  Enjoy some picnic lunch and spend the afternoon on game drive.  Back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 8;  Transfer from Mikumi/  Dar es Salaam.

Transfer from Mikumi/  Dar es Salaam.  Have a mornign game drive in the park.  Return to Mikumi Wildlife Camp for lunch.  Transfer from Mikumi to Dar Es Salaam.
