Tanzania Safari – Set departure (Dec-Mar/ Jun -Oct)
For the past two years, our 10 days safari set departures have been very popular henceforth we have introduced online set departure on this itinerary plus a couple of other itinerary options to give guests an opportunity to join a safari. This not only gives guests a chance to share a safari but also minimises the cost depending on the numbers. If interested in any of the below itineraries, please contact us to make a booking.
This safari is based on a minimum of 2 people/ Maximum 6 people. Window seat guaranteed, unlimited game drives in accordance with the park regulations.
December-March, Day 4 & Day 5 – Ndutu area; Southern Serengeti where migration will be. June-October,
Day 4 & Day 5 – Accommodation will be based in Central Serengeti in relation to the migration movement.

Itinerary Full Details
Day 1:Arrival – Met by Rajab and transferred to Lodge, B&B
Arusha. After breakfast, drive to Lake Duluti, a crater lake on the southern foothills of Mt Meru. Here you can canoe or hike around the lake. There a view points where you can see Mt Meru and Mt Kilimanjaro. Return to Arusha for evening walk around the city; overnight – at Karama Lodge/The Tulip.
Day 2 : From Arusha to Tarangire
After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park, with packed lunch. Game drive en-route. Tarangire is renowned for its large elephant population. Overnight at Lodge/ Camp. (beds, en-suite toilets and showers). Maromboi Lodge.
Day 3: In Lake Eyasi
Experience some walking & cultural activity. Accommodation at Lake Eyasi Lodge
Day 4: Central Serengeti
Early morning visit to the Hadzabe and participate in cultural activities with them. They are a small tribe of hunter-gatherers who inhabit the lakeside forest. Guests are able to go out hunting with the men and gathering with the women.
Proceed to Serengeti area picnic lunch & game drive en-route – overnight at Serengeti Kati Kati Camp
Day 5: Central Serengeti Area
Early morning game drive, return to camp for hot lunch and relaxation. Late afternoon game drive, dinner and overnight at Serengeti Kati Kati Camp
Day 6: Game Drive to Serengeti
After breakfast depart Ndutu for Serengeti National Park. Game drive en-route, picnic lunch. Overnight at Mbalageti Camp in Serengeti.
Serengeti plays home to millions of Africa’s large mammals, making this one of the world’s most famous wildlife destinations. Overnight at Lodge/ Camp in the heart of the Serengeti (beds, en-suite toilets and showers
Day 7: Full Day in Serengeti
Early morning game drive, back to camp for hot lunch and relaxation. Late afternoon game drive, back for dinner and overnight at Mbalageti Camp (beds, en-suite toilets and showers).
Day 8:Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Further morning game drive in Serengeti and then back across the grasslands and up to the Ngorongoro Crater. Tonight we are staying in a Lodge located in the Crater forest, it is quite common for zebra, buffalo and even elephant to be grazing right outside the lodge. (en-suite rooms) –Rhino Lodge
Day 9: Ngorongoro to Arusha
Ngorongoro is collapsed volcano – an incredible natural amphitheater, 25 km across and teeming with all of the African big game. Early morning descend into the crater for spectacular scenery and game viewing in what has been described as the eighth wonder of the world. After lunch, drive back to Arusha. Overnight at Karama Lodge/ The African Tulip.
Day 10: Back to Arusha
Depart after breakfast for Arusha National Park. Game drive, picnic lunch en-route.
Optional walking activity, visit Momella Waterfalls, return to Karama Lodge/The Tulip for dinner and overnight.
